Verbos existir e haver: presente e futuro (Verbs there to be: present and future)

- VERBOS EXISTIR E HAVER -

(presente e futuro)

* VERBO EXISTIR

é um verbo pessoal, isto é, ele concorda com o sujeito (tem formas no singular e plural)!

- Tempo presente do indicativo:
EXISTE = afirmação no singular                   NÃO EXISTE = negação no singular
EXISTEM = afirmação no plural                  NÃO EXISTEM = negação no plural

a) Em Minas Gerais, existe uma cidade chamada Congonhas. (In Minas Gerais, there is a town called Congonhas.)
b) Não existe uma formiga maior que um cachorro. (There is not an ant bigger than a dog.)
c) Existe algum bom filme sobre a Grande Depressão de 1929? (Is there any good film about the Great Depression of 1929?)
d) Existe vida após a morte? (Is there life after death?)
e) Alguém me disse que existe uma casa abandonada na outra cidade. (Someone told me there is a deserted house in the another city.)

Onças-pintadas vivem no pantanal brasileiro.

f) Existem onças-pintadas no pantanal. (There are jaguars in the Pantanal.)
g) Não existem coalas no Brasil. (There are no koalas in Brazil.)
h) Ela me disse que não existem fantasmas. (She told me there are no ghosts.)
i) Existem pessoas muito estranhas naquele lugar. (There are very weird people in that place.)


- Tempo futuro do indicativo: sem verbo auxiliar e com verbo auxiliar "ir"

1º) Sem verbo auxiliar:
EXISTIRÁ = afirmação no singular                            NÃO EXISTIRÁ = negação no singular
EXISTIRÃO = afirmação no plural                          NÃO EXISTIRÃO = negação no plural

a) Existirá um hospital aqui. (There will be a hospital here.)
b) No futuro existirão robôs em todos os lugares. (In the future, there will be robots in everywhere.)
c) Os problemas existirão sempre. (The problems there will be always.)
d) Existirão florestas no futuro? (Will there be forests in the future?)
e) Não existirá CD. (There will not be CD!) 


2º) Com verbo auxiliar "ir":
VAI EXISTIR = afirmação no singular                            NÃO VAI EXISTIR = negação no singular
VÃO EXISTIR = afirmação no plural                           NÃO VÃO EXISTIR = negação no plural

a) Vai existir um hospital aqui. (There will be a hospital here.)
b) No futuro vão existir robôs em todos os lugares. (In the future, there will be robots in everywhere.)
c) Os problemas vão sempre existir. (The problems there will be always.)
d) Vão existir florestas no futuro? (Will there be forests in the future?)
e) Não vai existir CD. (There will not be CD!)

* VERBO HAVER:  

quando tem sentido de existir é um verbo impessoal, isto é, ele sempre está no singular!

- Tempo presente do indicativo:
HÁ = afirmação                           NÃO HÁ = negação

a) Há um lápis na mesa. (There is a pencil on the desk.)
b) Há sete lápis na mesa. (There are seven pencils on the desk.)
c) Há sete lápis e três borrachas na mesa. (There are seven pencils and three erasers on the desk.)
d) Não há nenhuma laranja aqui! (There is not any orange here!)
e) Não há sujeira no chão. O chão está limpo! (There is not dirt on the floor. The floor is clean!)
f) Há quem diga que ele é doido. (There is someone who says that he is crazy.)
g) Eu sei onde há doces extras escondidos! (I know where there are extra candies hidden!)


- Tempo futuro do indicativo: sem verbo auxiliar e com verbo auxiliar "ir"

1º) Sem verbo auxiliar:
HAVERÁ = afirmação                           NÃO HAVERÁ = negação

a) Haverá um tempo melhor em breve. (There will be a better time soon.)
b) Haverá mudanças. (There will be changes.)
c) Não haverá almoço. (There will not be lunch.)
d) Não haverá mudanças. (There will not be changes.)
e) Haverá almoço? (Will there be lunch?)


2º) Com verbo auxiliar "ir":
VAI HAVER = HAVERÁ = afirmação                        NÃO VAI HAVER = NÃO HAVERÁ = negação

a) Vai haver um tempo melhor em breve. (There will be a better time soon.)
b) Vai haver mudanças. (There will be changes.)
c) Não vai haver almoço. (There will not be lunch.)
d) Não vai haver mudanças. (There will not be changes.)
e) Vai haver mudanças? (Will there be changes?) 

There will be changes. = Haverá mudanças (RIGHT!)
There will be changes. = Haverão mudanças (WRONG!)
 
There will be changes. = Vai haver mudanças (RIGHT!)
There will be changes. = Haver vai mudanças (WRONG!) 
There will be changes. = Vão haver mudanças (WRONG!) 
There will be changes. = Vai haverão mudanças (WRONG!)
There will be changes. = Vão haverão mudanças (WRONG!)

There will not be changes. = Não haverá mudanças (RIGHT!)

There will not be changes. = Não haverão mudanças (WRONG!)

OBS: 
1) Nós estudaremos o tempo passado depois, pois ele exige mais tempo.
2) O uso do verbo HAVER com ideia de tempo decorrido será estudado mais tarde.
